Goals and objectives are the backbones of training because they state what participants will learn. Using workshop objectives, trainers devise all training content, learning tasks, and evaluation activities. Even if you are not designing a workshop from scratch, it is important to ensure that existing training objectives are clear, precise, and directly related to your instructional content and methodologies. By the completion of this course you will:
- list three reasons why goals and objectives are important
- describe the difference between goals and objectives
- list the components of an objective
- identify correctly written objectives
- distinguish between correctly and incorrectly written objectives
- apply what you learned to your own workshop objectives
This course is made possible through a partnership of
Towers Perrin and ProLiteracy Worldwide.
Format: Self-paced Online Course
Documentation: Certificate of completion will document 1 hour as completion time.
