Questioning is one of the most important tools of trainers. Trainers use questions to engage participants and to assess what they learned.

After completing this course you will be able to

  • describe three roles of questioning
  • differentiate between open and closed questions
  • know when to use open and closed questions
  • explain the importance of active listening as part of questioning
