In response to the growing emphasis on preparing adult learners for employment, New Readers Press has designed a series of products to help integrate work-readiness into any existing adult education programs aiming for WIOA compliance.
WorkWise is a six-book series designed to help adult students succeed before, during, and after the job search. WorkWise will help your students explore career pathways, apply for jobs, create effective resumes and cover letters, apply strategies to have great job interviews, navigate new jobs, and so much more. Academic Skills: The last three books in the Workwise series help adult learners acquire the academic skills needed in today's workforce. Contextualized lessons center around Reading at Work, Writing at Work, and Math at Work, and feature a variety of workplace settings.
