Sam is happy in his group home. He has friendly housemates and caring staff. Because of cerebral palsy, Sam needs help getting dressed and eating his meals. With the use of his iPad for communication and a wheelchair to get around, Sam is in charge of his life. And he has dreams.
Suddenly, everything changes. Sam's older brother, Nick, is in big trouble. He thinks Sam's trust money can fix his problems. He moves Sam seven hundred miles from his home.
Sam can't talk or move on his own. He struggles to get control of his life. Neighbors, social workers, old friends, and the court system get involved. They all take sides.
Will Sam ever see his home again?
